Dr. Jerrod Puckett was born and raised in Southern Oregon before he moved to Portland, Oregon to pursue his higher education. He graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2014. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree along with a Master of Science in Sports Medicine from the University of Western States in 2017. He finished his doctorate program by working in a Veteran’s Affair Hospital, learning more about interdisciplinary healthcare and how chiropractic is essential for reducing pain and improving one’s general wellness.
Dr. Puckett has a passion for treating and rehabbing all types of injuries, whether they were gained through athletic endeavors, at the workplace, a motor vehicle accident or simply came out of the blue. He utilizes many treatments such as chiropractic manipulation, manual therapy, taping, therapeutic exercises and more, and will tailor the treatments to each patient’s injuries and needs.
Dr. Puckett has been an avid runner throughout his life, competing in long distance running from middle school throughout his collegiate career, and cultivated a passion for treating athletes while in the Sports Medicine program. When not in the clinic, Dr. Puckett enjoys his time running the trails of Portland, exploring the Pacific Northwest, reading or spending time with his family and dog.
