There are certain sensations associated with the therapeutic effects of acupuncture. These may include slight heaviness, pressure or traveling sensation along a area being treated. If any discomfort is experienced let us know right away and we can make it go away.
Your first visit is for a diagnostic consultation and treatment.
We will spend about 30 minutes going through health history and orthopedic assessment. After we gather all medically relevant information and answer any questions you have, we’ll begin treatment.
Please wear clothing that will allow us easy access to the areas being treated. Loose shorts and tops are something that are easy for us to work with. Any additional bedding that will make you more comfortable on the table is also encouraged.
