Xavier has been practicing Zen Shiatsu for over 30 years. Xavier has been practicing Zen Shiatsu for over 30 years. He works with a diverse range of patients and enjoys providing relief for many conditions, including PMS, headaches, insomnia, and TMJ.

Shiatsu is a Japanese bodywork therapy that uses gentle to moderate pressure along specific points and pathways in the body. The goal is to support balance in the nervous system, improve circulation, and help your body shift into a more relaxed, regulated state. Xavier began his studies in the Southwest, then followed his teacher to Portland in 1992 to complete a traditional apprenticeship.

He is a founding practitioner of the Immune Enhancement Project, where traditional therapies were used to treat symptoms from HIV, MS, cancer, and other chronic conditions. As an instructor at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine for 10 years, he loved the ability and responsibility of passing on this incredible modality to future practitioners. Xavier has dedicated himself to providing the highest quality of service he is able.
