Cilantro Pesto Recipe

Heavy Metal Detox

It is important to use organic ingredients and to wash them well. This will avoid contamination with pesticides and herbicides.

3 cloves garlic
1/3 cup Brazil nuts or macadamia nuts
1/3 cup sunflower seeds
1/3 cup pumpkin seeds
1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
1 cup parsley
2/3 cup cold pressed olive oil
4 tablespoons lemon juice
Big pinch of Celtic sea salt or whichever high quality salt you prefer


Soak the seeds and nuts overnight.
Shred the parsley, cilantro and olive oil in a blender or food processor until finely chopped.
Add the garlic, nuts, and seeds, salt and lemon juice together.
Mix until the mixture is finely blended into a paste.

Use the pesto fresh with a meal or store it in a glass container in the refrigerator.
